Your personal details are safe with us.
Data security and protection of personal information is vitally important to JPSA. Notwithstanding the fact that the Protection of Personal Information Bill which is currently before parliament will require that all personal information is stored and used in a secure fashion, JPSA has always held its members and subscribers personal details as sacred.
Subscribers to this site are assured of the following:
- All subscriber details are held in secured databases and access to these databases is only available to JPSA officials that are granted such access.
- No details of a personal nature pertaining to subscribers or ad hock clients is ever shared with any third party for any purpose whatsoever, other than information that is strictly required when submitting representations or other official communications with AARTO/traffic authorities.
- All publications sent to mailing lists created by the subscription offerings are sent with an option to unsubscribe from that mailing list without affecting subscription to other services offered by AARTO facts.
- All mailing lists are also stored in a secured database email sent via this mechanism sends singular emails to the subscriber only and no other subscriber's details are ever revealed.
- JPSA does not allow its databases to be used for any marketing purposes outside its own and therefore no subscriber will ever receive unsolicited email communications or "offers" from any third parties as a result of being subscribed to any of our databases.
- The only exception to divulging your particulars to a third party would be as a result of a legally enforceable court order. In these circumstances, JPSA will be obliged to comply with the terms of such an order but will furnish only that information which is contained in such an order.
