Listed below are the top ten reasons we believe that AARTO will fail to achieve the desired results if the issues are not addressed. They are listed from the least to the highest potential and realised risk factors:

The slide above is an extract from a presentation that was given to the RTMC on 22 January 2010.
Each and every point has already manifested itself to a greater or lesser (mainly greater) degree already, the latest of which was Cape Town's seeking an interdict to prevent the implementation of AARTO in Cape Town from 1 July 2010.
Neither the RTMC nor the Department of Transport has taken any heed of these warnings and in fact, the net result of this presentation was a seething attack on JPSA by the CEO and other board members of the RTMC, resulting in JPSA breaking ties with the RTMC.
